    No play in the seat. The seat backs are rock solid, you should get it checked.

    I believe Princeton is a troll.

    All he does is post false defects on this forum.

    Well, that is okay, I guess. If it makes him/her happy to post phoney issues, then what is the harm? Better than having them out in public??? Think of the harm that could be done in the real world?

    His car is fine (if he even has one???). I might suggest getting the poster of these bogus issues "checked". Something does not feel right. Maybe a loose screw? Can a screw this loose be tightened? Or are the threads "stripped" if you know what I mean?

    That's possible I guess, but there are other people chiming in on this thread with the same issue. My drivers seat back also moves a little when braking. It's very slight and not enough to warrant me doing anything about it. However I could see it bothering some people more, and/or being worse on some Volts.

    My seat does the same with hard braking. It's not a big enough deal to take it back to the dealer, but I agree with the original poster that it's something that GM should redesign for the future.
