RemoteLink: Bing for map search?!

I know GM has close partnerships with Microsoft, however...

Bing is a terrible choice for the search in this application. Since the change, partial searches for locations is absolutely miserable. I find myself going to Google Maps to find the location, then having to copy and past into RemoteLink to actually get directions into my vehicle. Painful.

Google has 80% of the market in search. Why in the world would GM select Bing? With every update I find myself using my smartphone more and more for navigation and abandoning my in-car Nav. I get instant view, better route controls, traffic, and other advanced features.

I am really hoping that by the time I am looking for my next Volt that the system is updated to something more current. An Android system linked to Google Maps and street services would be amazing. Anyone else unhappy with the new functionality?

With the new 2013's having Siri, I hope that Chevy turns to apple vs. microsoft! Especially with all the crap Microsoft puts out. Look no further than Ford for all the "my sinc" problems ..........
