Not too big a surprise. Looks like TESLA has continued to clean up a few 'fit and finish' issues and doesn't want to rush the deliveries.
I am guessing they will miss the 1000 number for 3rd quarter but will still hit the 5000 production number for the year.

They dropped to an estimated 500 deliveries for Q3. Z, are you saying they will do 4500 in Q4? That is a big stretch. They've done very few in Q2. I don't know how this business model succeeds through 2015 without additional financing or government help.
