    Default Charging clip broke

On the handle/adapter that you plug into the Volt there is a little plastic clip that secures it in place and mine broke. I have only had the car for 3 weeks and the little plastic tip just snapped off. The charger still works fine but does not "click" securely into place when I plug it in. Has anyone else seen this happen?

Nope, sounds like warranty uless it was abused (ie dropped, stepped on etc.) see your VOLT dealer. I'm sure they can make it right for you!

I've heard this is a common issue with the SPX design due to the way the clip is a huge lever. There are much better designed connectors, but this is not one them. I'm sure someone here can point them out, but both Voltec chargers have this issue.

Might be a slight blessing. At least two people reported having the clip get stuck while the charger was in the car and they couldn't unplug it from the car (and you can't drive with it plugged in).

    Default Love the car

Have to say, they really thought this car through. Between the slight beep to say, yep, all connected, to the green light saying I'm charging, then the beeps to say, full, ONSTAR app, the works. This car really had a lot of feedback put there. Even the gas sealant tank. Everyday I love driving this car more.

No problems on the clip on at all. Very smooth. I hang it on a cord so it doesn't drop. The plastic does seem more than able to break if dropped, or tugged on too hard. Plastic is still probably the best choice considering metal isn't a swift choice to make on an electric car during a rainstorm.
