    I hope they can get it approved on one of the DOE programs and SPX can start supplying them to customers at reduced cost.

    SO what are the EMF hazards? People complain about the potential hazard of a 50 milliwatt cell phone. This device BLASTS out 6.6 kilo-watts of magnetic energy...

    The company is about 12 miles away from me and I let them borrow my Volt for the video shoot. I am keeping in contact with them for updates.

    As far as EMF goes, the range drops off logarithmically and dramatically over 8 inches or so. I rarely sleep next to or under my Volt in the garage while it is charging!

    There are safety features that will turn the system off if it detects a metal object on the pad.

    I think you mean exponentially based on the inverse square rule.
