I won't engage as you will never get through to some folks. If they want to continue feeding OPEC and terror groups that's their decision.

I wonder if I am the only one seeing the irony of the posts saying they won't bother engaging a bunch of people, who they have never met mind you, because they are convinced they already have their minds made up...
Let me tell you why, in a public forum, you do engage these people. While you indeed may not change their minds there are plenty of spectators of such forums who will read but never post that can be convinced, educated or just their attitudes softened a bit while watching the debate between yourself and the "unchangeable". Of course it is always best if you keep your comments respectful and factual. If the Volt is only to be purchased by those who currently "get it" then it is done and over with. The Volt will only succeed by the educating and convincing of those who are currently doubters. Now whether or not you choose to carry some of that load is your own call but there is not much to be gained by announcing your decision to do nothing.

Excellent observation ron64.
I posted a comment on there - I am sure that I am about to get tons of flak and hate. But.... if I can at least open one persons eyes. Its crazy how many people still do not understand that the volt has a range extender.
Yeah +1 ron.
I read the article, don't see anything about Fox News in it. Anyway, FOX news is vastly different than FOX Commentary shows. Give it a rest. I own a retail store and park my Volt out front. Everyday, people from all walks of life come in and ask about it, including flaming liberals, democrats, independents, Republicans and conservatives. The politics don't matter, most don't have a clue about the Volt, and most don't understand it. Seems to me that GM failed at getting the word out.
I wasn't implying that the article was sourced from Fox News or had any correlation to it. I was referring to message board commenters all over the internet who strictly spew back viewpoints that they hear on places such as Fox News.
People who don't understand the Volt and are asking questions about it are completely to be expected; I run into them all the time and am happy to converse with them. But people who don't understand the Volt, but THINK they do based on what they read on their conservative websites, they are the problem.
I looked at the comments. The Volt-bashers are having a very hard time with their old, unfounded opinions. Volt owners are replying with facts and making the Volt bashers look like they are talking out their a$$. When someone states that the Volt can't drive very far, they are quickly shown to be ignorant by Volt owners who are driving cross country or even over 1000 miles in a single day.
