I have been reading old posts about the DashDaq because I'm considering getting one so I can monitor things that I miss from the dash on our other hybrids. SO I thought I'd ask owners of DashDaqs to post some images of the screens they have setup with explanations of why you find this particular info useful and/or a major enhancement to performance or range etc.
In our classic 2001 Honda Insight, we had a very elegant LCD dash that showed BATTERY level with 20 bars and CHRG/ASSIST (energy in/out of the battery. I found this gauge to be very useful. The 8 bar battery gauge on the Volt is pretty useless IMHO.
(The UP/Down arrows indicate suggested shifts for the manual stick transmission)
In the 2006 Escape Hybrid I have a very similar CHARGE/ASSIST charmingly old-school mechanical gauge:

Also, since my Esape did not come with the LCD center console I use the Scan GaugeII to get battery SOC down to .1% resolution and that is very useful info!
Can some of the experienced DashDaq users chime in and tell me if there is a nice way to display the equivalent of these 2 gauges? That will tip me over to spending the money on the DD. Thanks in advance!![]()
