Pretty clever commercial! I have a '12 Altima as a rental (last 2 weeks) and have visited the gas station ALOT. Not really impressed with the CVT. Miss my Volt!

What's even funnier is that for the limited miles a Volt uses gas, it gets 40 MPG on the Highway Cycle, and people are always claiming it gets "lousy" MPG!

I posted about that commercial on MNL. It's amazing to me that Nissan wasted that commercial on a gas using Altima instead of their gas free Leaf. Which, taken with other factors, makes me think Nissan has given up on the 2012MY Leaf.

It is a great commercial! But using it on a car that gets 38 MPG??

I saw that on TV and found it dump for a 38MPG car.. that is at best 50% reduction in trips to gas station (for gas) comared to average car. Yeah it should have been a leaf..

38 mpg is good for that size of ICE car, give Nissan a break. At least this ad didn't show a Volt filling up at the gas station.
