It is kind-of sort-of apparently almost official now. There's a press release here, but it appears some local dealership paid for that press release (VERY strange!). It refers to www.chevyconfidence.com, which appears to be a legitimate GM website, but it redirects to a page at the GM site that doesn't exist.

The press release has most of the rules in it, but doesn't talk about cars that may be excluded or how the tax issue is handled. So it looks like we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out the full details.

No where does that say's the Volt is in the Program, its a generic clear out 2012 stock. I still doubt it as GM would have the issue with the 7500 tax credit on returned vehicles and an obviously simple way to game the system for a purchaser who returns to take the tax credit with no intention to ever keep the vehicle.

Hmmm. It will be interesting to see if the Volt is included. Too bad it's only on 2012's, doesn't help me with my 2013 on order. If the Volt is included I'll be curious to see what the no haggle price is and how it compares to prices others have paid.

It won't be at all competitive. For other cars, it likely will be reasonably competitive (as in you could probably get it lower, but not enough that you would order out-of-state). For the Volt, it's impossible that GM would have a no haggle price that INCLUDES the $2,500 dealer incentive (that only goes to dealers meeting a quota). So the no-haggle price would likely be at least $2K-$3K above what Stingray offers here.

This add does include 2013 models, look:

The Chevy Love It or Return It Guarantee is a 60-day Chevy Love It or Return It Guarantee that allows customers that purchase a new and unused 2012 or 2013 Chevrolet model

I missed that when I first read the press release. It doesn't mention 2013 for the Total Price Confidence though. That might be 2012 only. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

The GM Ad for the program, I assume will be on TV soon

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkgIMwkiJU8

Still nothing showing which vehicles will be in the offer, disclaimers would indicate its not all vehicles

If you freeze-frame the ad, it says "Go to http://chevyconfidence.com for limitations and details". That page isn't live yet, so maybe tomorrow ....

Also noticed that the Volt is shown in two places in the ad. So - hopefully that means it's included!

    Default TWO Programs

What you people are starting to see is TWO different programs that Chevrolet will start tomorrow.

    1) "Chevy Confidence", which offers 2012 models, ALL Chevrolets, at a discounted price. This price is basically what a GM Employee would pay for the vehicle. Good on Purchase OR Lease. Of course, the "discount" is different on all vehicles, but any rebates currently offered (non on Volts) would come off of that figure. The dealer has to agree to the program, so your local dealer may not participate, but I'm thinking most will.

    2) "Love It or Return It": On 2012 AND 2013 models, if you purchase a new Chevrolet, they will promise to take it back after 30 days but less than 60 days and return to you the purchase price. No Fleet, Lease, or businesses. Chevrolet will then reimburse to the dealer a PART of that price, depending on the model, to help protect the dealer. Of course the Dealer would have to re-sell the vehicle as a used vehicle. License, Title, Registration will NOT be refunded, nor will any after-market options that have been added to the vehicle. There's several other restrictions, such as less than 4,000 miles and less than $300 in damage to the vehicle. Any vehicle involved in an accident is NOT eligible. But you are giving up a $500 rebate ($250 on Chevrolet Spark and Sonic) if you want to participate, so if you turn the car back in you are basically giving up the $500 plus license and title. Sales Tax will be refunded, but you can't get a trade-in back.

There's a lot more details, and I'm sure you guys have found the right websites, but it may not be available until tomorrow, which is the kick-off.
