    Default HID question

I made the move and had HID's installed in my Volt. 35 watts, 5000k. The installation took very little time, but at least I know it was done correctly and that I did not mess anything up. The new lights look great and make a tremendous difference in the light output. I did notice that the driver's side seems to have a small area where the road is not lit as uniformly towards the extreme left of the car to the side. Is this normal and can anything be done to correct the coverage? Is there any type of adjustment for HID's? Thank you.

This is normal - the bulbs are pointed across the road with the drivers side slightly lower than the passenger side. This is what helps keep the glare down for oncoming traffic. Its more noticeable once you switch to HID.

Thanks for the reply. I assume that HID lights either work properly or they do not work at all, so it is unlikely that anything is wrong with the HID bulb. Thanks again.
