Not a single one. Karma? LOL
According to OnStar technical support on Saturday July 7th at 11:21am PST. They said the web sign up system is down and it was a known problem. They would have someone contact me next week to sign me up MANUALLY.

The basic function of calling on the blue button only involves a Verizon cell phone call to an 800 number.

All of the "digital" features like checking battery status, remote start, remote unlock... Are not reliable. It does not matter if you are talking about an iPhone app. An Android app. The MyVolt web site. A Volt. A Cruze. A Suburban... ALL fail to work reliably with on the OnStar digital features. This is an OnStar server/network issue.

john, you're correct no virtual fence just a notification of where your volt is at a pre-programmed time.

Unfortunately, family link is not available to Canadian customers, even with an american Volt imported to Canada. Snif!
It gives the message that the car does not qualify for this service.

The site says you can do these things:

    * Vehicle Locate: Subscribers can log onto the Family Link website to view a map with the vehicle’s location at any time.
    * Vehicle Location Alert: Subscribers can set up email or text message notifications to let them know the location of their vehicle. They can choose the day, time and frequency of the alerts.
