The first Holden Volt TV commercial has been released in Australia before the car has been released. It is an exciting step for the Volt in Australia.

Nice add, however being a long time Australian follower of the Chevy Volt, It just looks plain wrong with the Holden badge on it.

I wish to buy one, but how many other here in Oz can afford the extra overcharged sticker price?
It is crazy at the expected $59,900 AUD - should be more like $41,000 AUD and that would allow for shipping!
Will only have one model thankfully with reversing camera - Yeh!
But I am not looking forward to the insurance as local repairs are scared of the electrics so another $ Wack there, not to mention future resale. US cars usually do very poorly in depreciation in Australia.

I will buy one - as I'm a mad Volt fan from day one but it will be totally finacially loonacy on my part.
Holden better sharpen their accounting pencil.
After all you have to put up with there sub standard service centres compared to luxury brands - even if the 49 dealers chosen are hand picked to meet a better standard!

Look forward to our version of the RHD Opel Ampera Vauxhall in Holden Volt colthing!
