Friday morning June 22nd someone ran into my Volt. The same morning it was taken to the body shop used by the Chevrolet dealer in town. Before the body shop could work on the car the high voltage had to be disconnected. This did not happen until Tuesday evening the 26th. The body shop said some one from the GM district came with the dealer Volt specialist to do it. Thursday afternoon I stopped at the body shop, they were at their computer putting together the estimate, which they said they would email it to me that afternoon , or Friday morning. I still do not have an estimate, which I need to OK the repair. My Volt Adviser says she will have the estimate July 3rd. That is 11 days after the accident. I do not mind cooperating with GM, however, I am paying for a rental car which is not covered by my insurance company, and all though the other driver was at fault, who knows how it will wind up. Does anyone have any ideas?
