iOS Podcasts app

If you use his new app, the podcasts don't appear with the in-dash display controls. Only those podcasts sync'd from iTunes appear. Add this to the useless display of repeat entries for the tracks and I find the iPhone integration close to useless. I cannot imagine GM not seeing the latter problem but still not fixing it.

Just got my Volt last week. Paired my iPhone via bluetooth. Can make and receive calls just fine. Plug the USB cord in try to play podcasts with Apple's podcast app and it comes up with an error on the screen that says something like "no content found" or something like that. But my iPhone's "play" icon is on. So, my iPhone thinks its playing something, but the Volt can't recognize it...

Any tips?

I have iCatcher app and it plays but I have to control it with my phone and not the dash.

I've had issues with it at first, but it seems to work now.
I have my iPhone paired using Bluetooth, and when I switch audio sources, the podcast starts playing. The App doesn't even have to be open, it seems to remember if I was using the podcast or music app last, and just continues where it left off.
The controls work on the dash, and even on the steering wheel.
It shows album art, but sometimes it's wrong, which I don't understand because all my music has album art embedded in the mp3 file.

Stitcher works well for me. 2011 volt. iphone 4s with IOS6. Phone is plugged into the Volt with the USB cable.

I haven't noticed an issue with my iPhone 4S and my 2013 with MyLink. I can't say for sure the podcast episodes I'm listening to were downloaded from the Podcast app or iTunes. I just downloaded several episodes via the Podcast app so I'll check today to see if they show up.
