Something like half of the 2012s were built prior to the enhancement's release. Some were retrofitted at dealers before delivery, the rest only if owners scheduled an appointment to do it. (I still need to do that...)

We have a 2012 and it had to have the enhancement.

If it's leaking best have the dealer sort it out. Hopefully something simple.

Would be a VERY good idea to start a thread on how to tell if your volt has had the upgrades.

You can see the sensor wire going into the sensor on the bottom of the left front dual tank. I was able to stick my iPhone under the tank and take a so-so picture but a better picture or diagram will really help.

Then tank bracket may or may tell the whole story. They left mine off and filled it so it looks 3/4 full and not the 1/2 full

The new charger cord is easy - the 1 foot cord is black.

No idea how to tell on the other 2 items.

My 2012 Volt came with all the enhancements directly from the factory. It was built on 3/12/2012 and has a sequence number of 119110. Is there a break-point on the '12 model year where you can say models before this sequence number need the enhancement and models after it have had it done at the factory?

There is - its the February production restart. I'm not positive exactly where that is in VIN terms, however. The factory was shutdown for the holidays as usual, and stayed shutdown longer than normal while they got the enhancement parts together; all cars built after they started up got the full enhancement. (The factory left the anti tamper bracket to be installed by the dealers, which apparently wasn't well communicated - lots of folks found the bracket sitting in the car after buying.)

I got the car back yesterday. The radiator for the battery TMS was leaking. I'm uncertain what caused the radiator to fail, although I'm assuming it was due to a rock or some foreign object striking it (the mechanic wasn't sure, just said it was leaking). They also performed the battery upgrade.

There is a new radiator grille for the lower portion of the battery coolant rad, that's to be installed in the event the radiator was damaged by debris. (recent dealer bulletin issued) It's part number 22856576 .
Maybe check your copy of the repair order and see if this part number is listed. If not the dealer may have missed the bulletin.

In any case glad to hear you're back in your Volt!
