Well after 41,000km/25,500mi I've got my first real failure (aside from the radio they replaced in an attempt to fix buggy software making my iPod crash)
"Service Parking Assist" on the DIC, but no codes when I call Onstar. Took it to the dealership today, and one of the rear ultrasonic sensors is bad. They have the part in stock (probably fits other cars besides the Volt) but they need to paint it to match. I'll probably drop it off again next week.
Sometimes you can find the faulty one by ear, but not in this case. (chock wheels, one person in driver's seat in reverse, put your ear to each sensor and listen for click-click-click) I did notice that the sensor on the outside passenger side isn't set flush like the other 3.
