Congrats!! Welcome. It's a complicated little car, but I'm sure you'll love it - there's nothing like it on the market so far. You may want to think about joining Voltstats.net once you pick up the car - one of our forum members created it, it uses OnStar to automatically pull trip/efficiency data from the car for you. Along the way, it's also showing us what the fleet is actually doing in the real world - over 1100 cars and 8.5 million miles in it's database so far, 71% electric with an indicated 126 mpg...
Excellent! You guys will enjoy this modern marvel! There is so much to learn about this amazing vehicle.

I assume you have taken a test drive, if not please do. My dealer allowed me to take their demo car for an hour on a Friday and for 4 hours the next Sat morning. I ran all my errands, took it home and parked it in my garage and went over the car from top to bottom, sat in the rear seats, opened and closed all the sail panels (doors etc) played with the audio/nav/hvac etc, adjusted the seats/mirrors than drove it out of battery power to see and feel it switch over to gas.
A few hours later we drove off on a brand new 2012 Volt.
BTW their DEMO car had over 3500 "hard miles" on it and I couldn't find anything wrong with it. The Volt wears/ages very well.
Good luck.

I recommend getting a clear bra installed on the car to protect the paint against grit, stones, bugs. Search Clear Bra in this site.
Also take the time to go through the manual cover to cover.
