Fathers Day present, Volt Transformer,Electrostatic Jolt

Now I am not certain if my 6 year old intended on this as a present for me or him, but it looks like the Volt is now a Transformer.

Yeah, Jolt was created and introduced as part of GM's marketing tie-in for the second Transformers movie, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" in 2009.

I just took delivery of my own Volt yesterday, and it's the same color :-) No lightning bolts, though! It is gorgeous in person!

Yeah my wife bought me one for my birthday a couple months ago and my five year old was just as excited as I was that our volt is an autobot! !!

My (adult) daughter, knowing my fascination for the Volt, bought me the toy several months before I had the real thing.

I transformed it once, which is easier than putting it back to being a Volt. My advice is to save the instructions. You'll be unlikely to remember the procedure for conversion (in either direction)

Yup, got one for Christmas. Kinda tough to take apart and put together, though.

Thats awesome. I got the 1/18 scale Volt for my Birthday and brought it to work to show everyone. When the kids asked me what I wanted for Fathers day I said the Jolt Transformer. But no luck finding them in stores. Maybe for Christmas. :-).
