Reading the comments over there - makes me so glad I am over here on gm-volt.
Are they (Coulomb ) saying it's GM's problem but some Ferrite Beads on their charger fix the problem ?

Hmm, mine runs like a clock!
My Coulomb CT500 has been on order for 6 weeks now with no delivery estimate. I've been working with DTE and SPX and the whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. I'm about ready to give up and just stick with 120 volt charging. Not really worth it to blow $1000 out of pocket for a 240 volt charger.
Thanks, Dithermaster, for the post. I've had this exact problem occasionally in the year or so I've been using my CT500, but for the last month it fails to charge every time in the delayed mode - always stops immediately with a GCFI. Rather makes the delayed charging feature useless! But it works correctly every time in the immediate charge mode.
I've just emailed Coulomb Technologies with details of my problem and have requested a free replacement charger - we'll see what happens!

Good luck. I sent my request to Coulomb last week, and still nobody has responded. I see my request in their system, though. It's possible we need Chevrolet to help us get a little more priority, because common sense tells us that a company that hasn't exactly been known for their customer service probably places this negative-profit item at the bottom of their list.
Volt11 - be patient! I received a response from Coulomb Technologies yesterday. They say they have checked my charging records and indeed found I have a problem with ground faults when using delayed charging. They are going to ship me a modified unit within two days that will fix the problem. They are also going to arrange through SPX for an electrician to do the replacement (I presume for free). They will also pay to have the old unit returned to them. So, if all that happens, it's very good customer service!

Coulomb Techologies management has little respect for employees.
2012 Series D round of funding washed out all previous grant value. Per implementation of 2012 500/1 reverse split on all previous series stock grants, company erased grant value for over half of its employees.
Company has reached only 30% of revenue needed to break even (b/e projected 2015), yet current 2012 CEO and CFO earn avg $275,000 annual salary. CTO (Primary founder) equally culpable as he supports this structure.
