Everyone is under factory invoice when you factor in the "Cap Cost Reduction" from the bank.....Lets be WISE out there...No one and I mean NO ONE is selling cars under factory invoice.....There's no reason to sell cars at that ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......There is always a TRICK behind the curtain....

Niel, your not doing yourself any favors bad mouthing a proven dealer with more than a dozen forum members that have taken the 2500 off MSRP deal, and no, it that's nothing to do with the Ally cap reduction, currently of 4400

Its about volume and low overhead, maybe a New york dealer can't make money at that discount and pay their bills, Stingray isn't in New york. Bottom-line, it is what it is, they make less and sell more.

I moved to Florida 18 years ago to escape the Northeast high cost of living, never looked back.

Most people here know I got mine at Stingray, and got a good deal when almost no one else here had Volts. One other dealer had ONE. And didn't seem interested in selling it, telling me how hard they were to get (yet Stingray had 6). And we have a LOT of Chevy dealers in Tampa Bay. And Stingray wasn't super close (about 45 miles from home, 15 from work) but it was worth it. Having a lot of dealers of the same brand fairly nearby wasn't something I was used to growing up, and it makes a difference in price.

But it wouldn't hurt to call Stingray and call Neal, and see what deal each of them can make you, and then choose from there. Just compare apples to apples, and you can get a good deal by calling around.

Neal there is really no Trick here. My prices are $2500 under Factory invoice, no tricks, no games, and no Fantasy Island. I cant be any more honest and yes our dealer fee is only $99. The Customers still get all the incentives etc. on top of my offer. Heres an example for you, I took this Volt out of your inventory at Atlantic Chevrolet vin#cu126920. MSRP on the Volt is $41285. I would have a selling price on that Volt of $37670.94 plus any additional incentives from the factory (Lease Cash,Saturn Rebates, etc) would go to the customer not to me. What would your price be on the same vehicle and what is your Dealer Fee? I have no reason to be dishonest here on this forum or anywhere else, it is just something Stingray Chevrolet is trying to promote right now, and it is really paying off, we are selling a bunch of Volts delivered 4 of them last Saturday.

Thanks everyone for the advice of looking into our big, nation-wide dealers. But as we have now learned that CA AT-PZEV vehicles need to be purchased/ordered through a California dealer, I'm back to my original question: Has anyone had any luck finding deals on 2013 factory orders (especially in California)? Right now it looks like I may just have to play the waiting game and hope enough 2013s have been ordered in Southern California with the options I want.

I am in LA and looking at getting 3-4 2013 Volts with a couple of friends but this is the first I have heard that we have to order from a California dealer for HOV models.

Where did you hear about this?

Sorry if I missed it somewhere obvious

    Thanks!

    elljefe,

I have been in contact with the general manager of a local dealership here in L.A. My dad and brother will be ordering 2013 Volts ASAP. If all of us in the local area go together and all order up our cars at the same time, we will get their best deal. Better deal than we would get at any other dealer. Kind of like a big group purchase. Even if you order the cars, you are NOT obligated to buy them once they come in. The deposit is fully refundable.

PM me and we can set it up. I want the best deal and I am sure you and your buddies do to. If we can get even more people on this forum to order at the same time, it won't hurt either!

    Let me know.

Count me in (well, depending on what their "best deal" is), please check your PMs, CTS-V-Twin... and Thanks!
