Thumbs up Photos from Woodrow Wilson House Meetup in DC

Here are a few photos taken by Barry and Lanny of the meetup and parade hosted by the EVA/DC and the Woodrow Wilson House. Several MDVolt EV owners brought their Volts.

Barry's final EV count and comments are as follows:

A BEAUTIFUL day in DC, very well attended. 19 Electric vehicles:
    • 9 Volts
    • 4 Leafs
    • 2 Vectrix Motorcycles
    • 1 Th!nk
    • 1 Tesla Roadster
    • 1 A2B Electric Bicycle
    • 1 Milburn (Didn't drive in the Parade)

The Electric Vehicle Parade was the QUIETEST parade ever!

As always, it was great to see everyone and get a chance to meet new EV drivers. The vehicle displays drew a lot of folks who had never seen electric cars before. A great day!

Thanks to all who organized the event.

What a beautiful day in DC! I really enjoyed it. I traveled 101 miles EV plus 8 miles on gas on Saturday. Had to stop twice for recharging.

It was fun. Nice to see Barry, Vlad, Ari and all the EVs. Nice to see the Tesla up close and personal as well!

Zim, sorry you missed it too! Everyone in the area is welcome to the EVA/DC and MDVolt events, including owners and enthusiasts from DC and VA...even non-EV owners like myself (waiting in the wings for something a little bigger than a Volt). One gentleman from Philadelphia came down and we've even had an owner from Delaware at the first one. Through these connections you can hear about other groups and events. There is a Northern Virginia EV owner meetup too (http://www.meetup.com/Northern-Virgi...ric-Car-Owners).

Stay tuned for more exciting meetups I'm currently working on!!!
