    +1 MrEnergyCzar

They should get a 50% discount to advertise on Fox since they bash the car regularly... and the company.

If you're gonna nit pick, then right back at you:

You said "The cuts only seem fitting, given the degree to which Fox and the other networks have sponsored and/or catered to the brutish, hateful, and outlandish abuse of General Motors and the Volt."

How is this not "link[ing] [the threatened cuts] to editorial coverage?" I didn't say that GM linked the events (which I do not believe to be true), I said YOU did. Maybe you intended your linkage to be more Karmic than causal, who is fine--- but it was still a linkage......

Other than Fox, do you think any other network was unfair to the Volt? I haven't noticed but I watch virtually no network television.

Why should they cut GM a deal?

I have to say, I watch a lot of FOX News, and agree with what is said on it more often than not. But when it comes to the Volt, and their treatment (or rather abuse) of it, I am thoroughly disgusted by them (FOX News). This is the same kind of media bias that killed the Pontiac Aztec... some idiot writer for a single auto magazine decided he didn't like the looks of it, and because of that, all the other two-bit wannabe auto magazine writers decided to jump on the bandwagon, and give it horrible reviews, mostly based on its styling.

The same crap is happening here and now with the Volt. Just because this car is built by GM, which was bailed out, people are bashing on it, and calling it a POS, and so on. Like I've been trying to tell my own father, if he'd just do what I did, and actually READ the reviews of actual Volt OWNERS, he would know that there's not one single damn thing to dislike about the Volt. But too many people allow the media to form their opinions for them, which is sad. I have my own mind, and my own opinion, and I love what I've heard about the Volt so far.

SHAME on FOX News, for what is clearly biased "reporting" (if you can even call it that), and kudos to the auto magazines, who for once, are actually telling the truth, by publishing glowing reviews of the Volts they test-drive.

There's still ads on TV? Oh yeah, that's why I have to fast forward on the DVR all the time
