    Default Electric Jeep Laredo spotted

I noticed this while reading about the restaurant owner making deliveries using his Volt:

Anyone heard anything about a plug-in Laredo? Looks like they are using the Volt's 110 cord to recharge it.

Update: Ms. Campbell has now added "local company AMP has retrofitted jeeps into electric vehicles" to the posting.

Cool Electric Jeeps are usefull and needed in America

If Chrysler begins manufacturing and selling electric Jeeps in America, they will sell well, since the electric motor can produce superb torque at low revolutions, exactly what rock climbers need. The regular Jeep customers drive them on highways, where there would not be much advantage for EV operation. But a Voltec Jeep would be ideal!

So GM, why don't you try licensing the Voltec technology to Chrysler, and have it licensed exclusively for Jeeps? Every drop of gas not consumed is better for America. Until GM produces a similar vehicle (maybe a different SUV with a truck chassis?), electric Jeeps are what mountain lovers and rock climbers need.

Wow. This is awesome. The more EV's the better and an SUV to boot. Why is this a secret?

Nice. It makes me miss my Jeep just a little bit. Though, I do like the Volt lurking in the background of the picture.

    Nice!
I used to work very close to their Blue Ash location for AMP, before Land Rover took it back over.

Now, I have a new place to go for Pizza!!!
