    It sounded like a win-win agreement: California settled a decade-old lawsuit from the days of the Enron scandal, and as part of its penance, NRG, the successor to Dynegy Power Marketing, would build a network of EV charging stations for the Golden State’s citizens to use. What’s not to like? Plenty, for the other players in what’s shaping up to be a lucrative and competitive business... Newswire >

    It's a completely absurd agreement. NRG engages in price fixing and price manipulation, hurting electrical consumers. Rather than make NRG refund the money it's gotten from consumers, it has to build a network, the use of which it can charge for. Reminds me of the class action settlements where the company gives you a coupon for money off the next product you buy from them. What a joke.
