2013 Volt Urban leather and cloth now called pebble beige

I'm about to talk to my local dealer about putting in an order for a 2013 Volt (their 2012's are all sold). I liked the 2012 tan leather option on the 2012's. I decided to download the 2013 order guide to my blackberry PlayBook and noticed that the urban cloth and urban leather option has been renamed pebble beige cloth and pebble beige leather.

Link to GM order guide just click 2013 and under ordering information click cars an light trucks. Then click Chevy cars. Then click print book, select Volt, select print model and hit print. It will give you a PDF of the order guide.

Appears that the new Pebble Beige colored seats now available in premium cloth AND it also appears that the Leather appointed includes a suede insert in the seat. Anyone in favor of 'suede' insert...........you have to check the Interior footnotes carefully (AFJ2)

There is pricing for new options on this thread. It looks to me like the Pebble Beige color is darker than the original neutral color from 2011-2012 models.

It's disappointing that the order guide doesn't show the wheels for the WQX wheels, although I suspect that the Sport Alloy wheel is the same one used on the Ampera.

As noted on the above referenced thread, the new and cheaper Nav radio, UHQ, now requires the Bose option.

One thing I'm very happy about is that the order guide still includes "Pedestrian friendly alert, driver activated horn chirp". I hope that means that we don't have any automated noise maker, as has infected the Leaf and other vehicles.

Thanks for the info. I was at my dealer today. Placed an order for a 2013. Blue Topaz with the Pebble Beige cloth interior. I got the comfort package with the safety 1 package (rear back up camera), no nav.

Congrats on ordering a MY2013. Did the dealer give you any indication when you might get it........likely the fall sometime, would be my guess. I ordered my MY2012 in May and got delivery in October/11.

Dealer told me sometime in August.
