I am 100% about using less gas, and in fact my gas use must be down 80% since I got the Volt (it replaced a Subaru STi, which got an indicated 20mpg, 19 calculated) as a daily driver.
Now if I'd just trade that Ferrari off on a Tesla... I'd cut my gas use by 1/3 again.
But I'm 100% about the smell of leather too! lol. Peta can mail me a pipe bomb, I'm still ordering more restoration hardware furniture, just to smell it, in my 2nd place. And I'm ALWAYS ordering the upgraded leather if I can. And I dearly await the option of full interior aniline leather in an ELR. PUT THE PLATINUM PACKAGE IN THAT THING, CADDY!
50-55+ miles spring/summer (no climate control), 45-50 summer (AC on Eco), ~30 winter (heater running)
The electric car will win one day, not because of global warming or enviro-anything, but because it is simply a superior driving and ownership experience. You read it here first.
