Default It's not the gas pedal, it's the go pedal

Similarly, it's not the brake pedal it's the stop pedal.

Is it just me or has anyone else changed how they started talking about the pedals now that they no longer give it gas or brake? Calling it the electricity pedal is too long, as is "regen pedal" for stopping.

Accelerator and brake, faster and more descriptive. Regen or no, you are still braking the car. JMHO

Accelerator and brake for me as well, but I actually like "Go" better. Shorter and more descriptive.

In "L," it is not just the Go pedal. Perhaps "Speed Regulator" or, just to be safe, "Foot Position Sensor." ;-)

Best response, I have always referred to them as the Accelerator and Deceleration pedal.

You're right but then again we still dial a number, ring people up, record a message, tape a video, etc. :-)
