Lightbulb Add kWh used to A/B trip odometers, add automatic last 30day and lifetime odometers

I wish that the A/B trip odometer included the total kWh used in addition to the miles and gallons... Put kWh in place of mpg since that is pretty meaning less too.

Also if they added a "last 30 days" and "lifetime" odometers to the carousel that would be an even better improvement!

I know the info is in there - GM just doesn't want to show it to us!

No doubt the reasoning is because this is geared toward being a mainstream "car" for the masses. They wanted to certainly keep the vernacular the same/similar. Early adopters sure are tech geeks.

MYVOLT.COM now has 30 day details including daily.

The trip a/b is pretty novel and could be useful for testing -- ie. week of L(ow) vs week of D(riving) and a geek-fest thread on it.

"Normal" masses buyers don't care or understand kWh's as most people quickly find out when it get's discussed

you are so right about mainstream.

BUT we are so close to having it . The data is in the car. The car has remote telemetry via a internet radio link.

And I love your work around :-)
