6 Volts with Michigan plates - in Northern California (near Palo Alto)

You never know about Area 51, they do some pretty stranges out there...I live nearby Area 51 but haven't seen any volts headed that way, at least not yet....

Well you're not supposed to see them, are you. They probably fly them in at 3:00 AM in a blacked out C17, LOL.

Well it was not Area 51, but it was Courtesy Chevrolet in San Jose tuesday night, at an owners orientation meeting that I saw 20 other volts, all lined up in the lot, after they all got a complimentary wash from the dealer. No Michigan plates - lots of CA ones, and a few (like mine) which don't have plates yet.

We met the service staff, toured the shop, saw a Volt on the lift with it's battery pulled out. A large contingent of GM engineers and staff were on hand to answer technical questions. An interesting opportunity to ask questions and meet other Volt owners.

GM has an Advanced Technology Office in Palo Alto near Fry's. Usually a couple of Volts parked in front....

Actually, every time I visit Fry's I look at the GM Advanced Technology Office parking lot, and in most cases it is hard to find any GM cars in its parking lot ;-(

GM is also taking them around to tech companies as well. I know that several Volts with Michigan "M" plates visited Autodesk in SF recently (I think it was on their facebook).

Yep, those same cars are at Cisco today for a GM thing in the parking lot.
