Well it was not Area 51, but it was Courtesy Chevrolet in San Jose tuesday night, at an owners orientation meeting that I saw 20 other volts, all lined up in the lot, after they all got a complimentary wash from the dealer. No Michigan plates - lots of CA ones, and a few (like mine) which don't have plates yet.
We met the service staff, toured the shop, saw a Volt on the lift with it's battery pulled out. A large contingent of GM engineers and staff were on hand to answer technical questions. An interesting opportunity to ask questions and meet other Volt owners.

Actually, every time I visit Fry's I look at the GM Advanced Technology Office parking lot, and in most cases it is hard to find any GM cars in its parking lot ;-(
Nice. Good to see GM is finally trying to sell some Volts.
