As of today you can now finance a Volt for 0% x 72 months thru Ally Bank.

Lease options remain strong with 60% residual(no Nav) for 36 months, 12k per year, no security deposit and waive first payment.

Lease cash goes from $3045 to $4445 on 36 months.
Does the 'lease cash' go from $3045 to $4445 increase the lease cost or reduce it?

It decreases the cost of the lease. Instead of the bank giving you $3045 to help with lowering the payment you're now getting $4445.

I got mine in Ohio and live in Wisconsin. The one issue was their lack of confidence they were charging the correct taxes (and to complicate it, in Wisconsin the taxes are paid with each lease payment, not lumped into the total financed). They also had a bit of trouble ordering me new plates. If I just would have transferred them, it probably would have been a bit smoother.

It was a long, but fun, day to fly to Cleveland and then drive the Volt back. Some good bonding time with the new car!

Does anyone know if the lease cash for california is still higher. According to this:
    http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/dir...cat=affiliates

it was $1100 higher in April. Does this also apply for HOV eligible volts?
Also what is the money factor for these leases. I am trying to plug in some numbers to take advantage of a GM card rebate, loyalty (already have a 2012 Volt, looking for #2 for my parents), and a private offer I just got.

    Cheers!!

2 dumb questions: what is "no Nav" and what is "lease cash"? I am learning about leasing for the first time.

No nav means the car doesn't have the gps dash navigation system

leash cash, is a instant credit towards the lease, similar to what a rebate is if you purchase, it lowers your monthly payments.

Or 12K miles per year @ 60% = $320.32 This is a true sign and drive, just bring a pen.
    Thx Andrew,

    1)What is the money factor?

    2) Is the 795$ acq fee due at signing or is it financed and in included in the monthly payment?

    3) Is the 50$ county tax +150$ tag transfer+99$ dealer fee=299$ due at signing or is it financed?

4)Is there tax on the 4495$ lease cash?

    5) are you really discounting the Volts another 3000$ in addition to the lease companies 4495$??

    6) Is the first monthly payment truly waived or is it just lumped in w/ the remaining 35 payments therefore raising the 35 payment $8.88/mo

    Thx,
    GSB
