They have a 220 on their wall, I'm not sure if they tried using it. My car was cutting off the charge half way and giving me an error text message. It of course also triggered a few codes.
In the end it seemed to be water issue. The Volt was seeing an incorrect Voltage and when that happens, even a slight difference and it shuts down and says "nope." lol
So in the end, they dried it out and applied a lubricant to the rubber on the charge port door. I tried to tell them that was likely not a fix because I was parking it outside. (Had work done in the garage) and the rain probably came in during that time. Due to the angles of the plug going into the car, perhaps that wasn't the issue. It never happened again. So I guess the water damage could have happened when there was no plug in the socket and the charge door was closed, but perhaps not sealed. Annoying, but in the end not a huge deal.
I really hope your issue is resolved promptly. Perhaps try making sure it's very dry in the plug area. Maybe hold a blow dryer near it, on low and at a safe distance. Of course if they weren't able to do this and reset the code and get it to charge, you may not get it to charge anyway. I don't know the exact details of how that works. For the record, I do know that you can unhook the 12v battery for a little while in an attempt to reset things. If it has codes though and they don't have them saved you might call onstar and ask them to save the diagnostics report so your dealer can have access to that in the future. Just brainstorming here.
