    Default To many Volts!

So we have had our Volt for 6 months. And you still only see them now and then in the suburbs of Chicago, lately much more frequently.

Today my wife and I drove to a suburb of Chicago called Glen Ellyn and I parked my red Volt on the main street, we then proceeded to eat lunch and after lunch we decided to take a very long walk. While we where walking my wife exclaimed "There is a Volt!", a Red Volt passed us on the street we where walking on, the funny thing is that we where walking on the same street I had parked our Red Volt on, so naturally as I have not seen that many Volts around I went to my phone to check my charge status so nobody would have stolen my car.

It was another Red Volt, mine was still safely parked way behind us on the same street.

The volts are multiplying like rabbits.

I like this story (especially the part about making sure your car hadn't been stolen... haha! I would've done the same), but I feel compelled to opine that there's no such thing as too many Volts! We need mooooore Volts! Preferably many thousands per month!

Great story. But yes, there can't possibly be too many Volts!

Sadly, I have still yet to see a Volt on the road...I really don't understand why. I live in an area where there has been 3 Karma's on the road already! I've seen 3 Leaf's in a single day, but I have not yet seen another Volt in the wild other than in some parking lots....

The op did not say "too many volts".. they said "to many volts!". I took that as wishing them well.

After many many months of being the only volt around, one of my neighbors down the block finally got theirs. I missed chatting with him but my wife was out washing the Volt and he drove by and said hello and how much he liked my red!

So I'm with the Op here's to many volts!

I thought I was the only Volt owner in my town, but a co-worker said she saw another one parked at the grocery store. Gotta keep my eyes open...

You are absolutely correct. The story led me to believe use of "to" instead of "too" might be a typo. Now I'm just confused ... haha :-)

I keep seeing a silver and another black one (like mine) around Batavia, Geneva, and St Charles. Don't known who the owners are though. And then there was one with a "Volt" decal when i was out having dinner in Glen Ellyn/Glendale Heights.

I haven't seen many Volts since I bought mine in December. Yesterday I spotted a black one waiting at the light on Ox Rd leaving my Fairfax Station neighboorhood. As I turned it, I thought is that another Volt! I didn't even have a chance to give it the pedestrian horn.

I'm not seeing any other Volts around here - yet. What I AM seeing is tons of brand new Chevies, though - mostly Cruzes. Lots of smiles and waves. I know a lot of people are watching how I do - this is the south, conservative - to see if maybe they won't make this move later if mine turns out well - and it is, of course.

I'm getting a whole new type of attention. At first, it was me saying hey, looka my cool new car - most not even realizing what a Volt is. Now, everyone knows that (small towns are like that) and I get people stopping me asking how I'm doing with it, how it's working out for me. They seem happy to hear I'm having a ball, it's working out great, since most often I see them at the general store/gas station and they've just been bent over at the pump. They almost seem to get some vicarious pleasure that at least somebody has escaped that deal with the devils.
