New 120v Voltec Charger

I just picked up my recall replacement 120v Voltec charger for one of my Volts, new part# 22914085. The only visible difference is that the short 12 inch cord from the Voltec unit to the 120v plug is now black in color, and is 14 guage wire instead of the 16 gauge wire used before.

Still waiting to hear about replacement of the charger for my first volt.

Volt 1: White 2012 #4038
Volt 2: Crystal Red 2012 # 15079

Any chance you could take 2 pictures? One of the new inlet cable, especially the plug and one of the nameplate on the side?

Voltmeister, here are the pics of the new Voltec 120v charger that you requested.

I think the reason that I have only received one so far, is that the Volts were bought from different dealers at different times, though both are 2012's. The recall is suppose to be for all 2011's and all 2012's, from what the service manager told me.

Excellent!, I agree the cord and plug look much better. The strain relief section appears longer and more robust as well, but considering how much torque gets applied here, it could have been even longer...

Any chance of a pic of the label on the side of the unit, under where the cord wraps around? It will have the part number and some other info that label geeks get really excited about..
