Default Name the Conservative media headline...

As a Republican, I know drudgereport.com and fox news will be spinning the Volt numbers negatively next month, regardless of what they are.

What do you prognosticate their headlines to be at the following numbers:

    800
    1600
    2400

This thread is meant to be fun, and I suspect we'll have some really close guesses!

800 -> Volt sales sharply down despite lavish government give-aways.
1600 -> Volt sales barely move despite lavish government give-aways.
2400 -> Volt sales X times less than Prius C sales despite lavish government give-aways.

In my holiness, I forgot to add my two cents:
800 - Volt sales continue to wind down
1600 - Volt still meeting resistance
2400 - Fleet sales to left-leaning companies prop Volt sales!

I'll give it a different spin.

800 - Volt sales still a burning issue.
1600 - Volt sale fail to catch fire.
2400 - Volts sales on fire!

    800 - Not a chance
    1600 - 120% sure more than this
2400 - Already sold this amount this month

    Actual Sales:
3317 - Volt sales explode thanks to Obama motors give-away of 0% financing and leasing at 325 month at tax payer expense
( for the Google Trolls, the comment is off-humor, the car is selling well as its the right car for the right time )

Regardless of how many Volts are sold, there'll probably be a "Fire sale" pun headline somewhere.

800 - What went wrong with the Volt?
1600 - New marketing campaign does little to overcome Volt price, image barriers
2400 - Volt sales overtake(?) Leaf despite factory shutdown (Business headline in May: Government Motors Blunders on Volt Supply Chain)

I think I surprised myself with how easy it is to spin things negatively. Yeesh.

I wanted to start a thread on a similar topic but don't really want to go through a wringer on it but thought I might add it here as it may apply to these headlines.

The headlines of the Volt and all the fuss around it seems to have one underlying aspect to it. I actually believe it is racism against Obama. You boil down all the words from these anglo men and women on Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and many others. They say the president is doing poorly (him - specifically) while they don't really fault Congress, capitalism, inflation, banks, etc. No matter what the Volt does, it is associated with Obama. That was done through the "strategic" words of a group of people who are working together. They don't have answers to the deficit problem nor can they fix the gas price problem. They are currently acting like bullies who have no direction other than to "defeat Obama" and "take back our country". I find it incredibly childish and bully-style politics. It's just too bad we don't have other candidates than the two "Party" (singlular) system that we have now. As a white, registered republican - the GOP battles going on now makes me turn away from all these people simply because they don't bring any real answer to the table of specific problems. They'd rather win by bashing and in the end, it's turning almost barbaric. Lowering taxes to help fix the budget did "work" for Regan but he had a whole lot more going on back then and also did raise taxes during his years in office. There is no way to fix our current budget problems even with the Republican "mantras" that they are blathering about.

The only way to fix the budget is:
    1) energy independence (and EV's do that)
    2) fix import/export imbalance
    3) build something - open factories, keep money in the country
    4) cut tax breaks to companies who outsource jobs
    5) slightly higher tax brackets for high income workers (2-3 more percent)
    6) stabilize home ownership and figure out how to fix cost of higher education (hard to do)
    7) lower corporate tax rates along with lowering corporate tax deductions
    8) incentivize renewable energy infrastructure and innovation for higher yields

    So, finally.
The Volt headlines really should say:
"Volt sales increasing. American ingenuity helping to raise energy independence and create American job opportunities. Finally."
