I am hoping to get my Volt with MyLink within the next couple of days. MyLink became a special option right about the time of the plant shutdown. I was able to get my order in right before the shutdown and it was built in the second week after the plant came back up. It was finished on May 1 and has been in route to my dealer in Northern Virginia.

I haven't heard or seen any Volts coming into dealers as part of their general allocation that have MyLink, nor have I seen anyone on this forum report in that they have a Volt with MyLink. If I can take delivery by the weekend, I plan to thoroughly check it out and report my findings here on the forum.

I must say that I am an Android guy, not an iPhone guy, although I do have a 160gb iPod Classic and a 30gb iPod Touch that I will try out. At some point, I will have one of my iPhone friends come by and see how the iPhone works with MyLink.

You probably know that for the 2012's, MyLink and NAV are incompatible, but this is not supposed to be the case for the 2013 Volts.

Since you can't order 2012's anymore, it will be interesting to hear how many 2012's were actually fitted with MyLink. I am thinking that it may be only a few people like me who placed special orders in late February, early March when the option became available.
