Default Unable to communicate with high voltage charging module

Took the volt out this morning to pick up my new Traxxas XO-1. 100 mph electric RC car.

Anyway - I put the car in drive and the following error message came across the center display:

"Unable to communicate with high voltage charging module"

I put it in park and recycled the power - same message. The car was running fine, however, I was unable to call up any of the power status screens. So I went to the store - when I finished purchasing my other electric vehicle and powered up the Volt - All was back to normal. So - was wondering if anyone else has seen this message?

    Thanks,

I have, one time. I called on-star and a volt advisor. Both are extremly helpful but.... they could not pull any codes and it works fine now. If it happens again push the blue button and ask onstar to run a diagnostic while its messing up.

Kevin - Thanks for the response. A different problem cropped up this morning. I was unable to select anything on the center stack. For example - I tried changing the heat selections - all that would happens is the button I pressed would be "white". Each button I pressed remained "white". I called OnStar and they ran diagnostics but found nothing wrong. I turned the car off at work and when I powered it back up again - the problem was gone. Here is a shot of the center screen.

Sorry - forgot to post an update. GM ended up replacing the inverter.

Most important part of power cycling the car is to let the extended time buss to power off as well. If you hit the blue power button, the center stack and all the electronics stay powered until about 20 seconds after you open and close a door.

You can actually see a faint glow on the dash screen until the power actually shuts off.
