Default Shouldn't we have a local issues forum on this site?

The leaf owners forum has a forum just for local topics. For example, they have a "leaf owners of North Carolina" thread where we talk about local charging station installations and local issues. I have now been to two EV events at North Hills in the last two weeks and I was the ONLY Volt in attendance that wasn't fleet. It's disgusting. We need to show up at these local events and show a presence.

Others agree we need to add a new forum section?

Was that the ribbon cutting for the new charging stations at the bank? What was the other?

I think it's a good idea to have a sub-forum for local events/news. I've had a couple of threads regarding Raleigh, but haven't had much feedback; threads can get buried pretty fast.

If you don't mind, put your location info in the "My Profile"/"About Me" section.

I have requested a few times in the past, and with many new members, here again request for everyone posting to place their LOCATION in their signature box or in their info section ( top right ) . When you write about certain issues, those of us that read, or are affected by the same issues, can relate....ie: temps, terrains, snow, ice etc. I also suggest the VIN be included so we can approximate the age of the car which can be important for some mechanical or wear predictions. Doing this and also having specific location- specific blogs could be very helpful to all.
With that said, I saw my first VOLT in the wild the past week...it was white with black interior and white accents, and it was charging at the complimentary stations in Delray Beach......anyone from here ?

I had a couple of requests to expand the NOVA group to include DC and MD, so I created a new group since I couldn't delete the NOVA group. Could one of the moderators please remove the NOVA group?

I think a regional section based on geographical location would be a great addition to this forum. I want to create a thread specific to owners in central/northern california to get suggestions for a decent tint shop and I'm not sure where to create the thread.
