Default Idea for an electric car rally to counter miss information about electric cars

I just had an intresting idea for an electric car rally now that we have more fellow electric cars on the road.

An intresting display would to have rallys and setup physical barrels of oil saved per car. Each barrel is about 42 gallons of gas so for me it would be about 4 barrels since september.

By the end of next year and with maybe 100 cars on each event it could be 1000 barrels of oil, it would make an impressive display. Question is how you get 1000 empty barrels of oil and stack them.

Maybe GM reads this, you have the resources I think you will get plenty of voulenteers with their cars if you decide to create rallys like this. Most likely would be cheaper than commercials and with internet and social media it would get peoples attention much more than commericals on TV. A few interviews with volt owners / leaf owners. The benefit of cheap barrels is that a lot of them makes impressive displays.

Slogan (If you had the choice to buy these barrels from countries like Iran or instead spend less of your money for US made electricity what would you do?)

Maybe join forces with Nissan and Ford.

I think towing coffins with american flags drapped over them would be more effective. Not sure how the media could twist saving soldiers around to something negative....

I do.......except they would not interpret it as saving a 'soldier'............Fox News would surely interpret that as a Chevy Volt towing its own pre-made coffin for the time when the EV (and all govt subsidy) is finally dead. I can just see the headlines now, as I write this text.
    Don't even suggest a coffin.

Wouldn't have to spin it, it is negative in the larger sense isn't it?
