For those that don't know what geocaching is: It is a form of adult scavenger hunt where there are caches hidden all over the world and using your gps or smartphone you can search for them. When you find them you log the find. In these caches people leave items and trackables. Trackables are items put into a cache and then another person finds it, logs it and moves it into another cache for someone else to find. Many of these trackables have goals or missions. Visit www.geocaching.com for more information.
To help spread knowledge of electric cars and to spread the excitement around them I have created two travel bugs for geocaching. One is a red Chevy Volt and the other one is a Green Tesla Roadster. I have set their goals to get their pictures taken with as many electric cars as possible while traveling around the world.
Once they start getting some logs you can track it on the following pages. A google map will show up, showing where it has been.
