    Default Radio Help

So I am trying to access the EQ settings on my radio and the manual explains to do it through to tone menu. Then to press the right or left arrows to cycle through the settings......my question is WHAT ARROWS? I see the bass, treble and mid, then the speaker forward and side to side but no eq settings......can anyone help with this?

If memory serves me right, the arrows on the lcd screen above and below each setting, bass, mid, highs will work. Been a while since I set mine to my preferences, I could be wrong but don't think so.

As I recall Deanzsyclone is about right.. its on the LCD. Not very intuitive, I think there is a single set of arrows, you select what you want to adjust (e.g. balance) then adjust by clicking the lcd screen buttons.

The manual looks to have changed for 2012. To me it is clearly talking about preset EQ settings for different types of listening. You can see in 2011 there was only two (red below) but in 2012 there would appear to be 5 (see blue) so it would seem you would have to scroll through them since there would not be room for all 5. Perhaps this never made it into the system in 2012 but the manual shows it. Please advise.

I see 2011 also shows 'sound menu' vs 2012 'tone menu'. In 2011 there is a tone "button" on the console but not sure about the 2012 and if it says 'sound' ... or sound is in the CONFIG area.

    2012 manual:
    EQ Settings
The EQ settings are selected through the tone menu. Press the left or right arrows to cycle through the EQ options. The available choices are Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, and Talk.
    2011 manual:
EQ (Equalization): The EQ settings are selected through the Sound menu. If the vehicle is equipped with the BoseŽ Energy Efficient Series sound system, EQ provides a choice of Manual or Talk settings.

It might be the + - (as I said it was not a good match). I have a 2011.

There are some thingsin the 2012 manual different from 2011 that were not actually installed in the car, e.g. the config of very low temp for ICE start. Seems like another error.

Do you have the 'manual' and 'talk' EQ buttons?
