My car seemed to start doing the seat belt thing, after getting a software update a couple of weeks ago. Volt advisor said it was a known issue. I asked if I'm going to have to put my Blackberry Z10...
That's great!
My first year of ownership, TODAY. Just over 14,000 km. 95.7% EV. Love this car!
Had a red MINI Cooper for about 8 years, loved it. Have had the Volt for almost a year, love it. Don't really miss the MINI too much. Electric driving is such a blast. Saving money of fuel was never...
I'm very happy with my Volt. Previous car was a mini, which I loved too. Enjoyed driving the mini for almost 8 years, 10 months with the Volt, enjoying driving it (though for entirely different...
It's been pretty much all smiles and friendly questions for me. Can't say I notice any difference in people's driving around me, that I didn't experience in my old car.
I do agree with the blind...
Really nice story. Hope you enjoy your car as much as I have!
Lack of education of sales people is sad, in any purchase, even more so with a Volt. Good thing you were able to train him;)
The pop up ads, audio and video playing, and flashing ads are really annoying. I come to this site way too often, and these ads are making me think twice about visiting. Any chance they can be...
Agreed. Funny how small the car looks without the body around it.
Agree with being disappointed with the camera, but love the Volt, so I have to forget that one thing.
A few days ago there was a thread about an on-line service manual...
Feels really nice to drive home without using any gas, doesn't it. Many more happy miles to you!
Just came across this video made by GM Canada at this year's auto show in Toronto. Always fun to see the guts of the Volt.

That's great! I'm only 8 months in but feel exactly the same!
Finally got back to riding my bike to work, after about 8 months of finding it hard to resist driving the Volt;)
I posted a comment too, but it didn't show up. Perhaps we should all try email "Please write to us at wheels@thestar.ca with your suggestions, or leave a comment in this blog, and we’ll get right to...
The Toronto Star newspaper is starting a 6 month trial of the Volt and Leaf.
Should be interesting...

7 months with the Volt, and it's been great! Love the driving in sport mode, hard off the line, with no noise. My commute allows me to stay at about 95-96% electric driving. With the moderate...
"Expectations are the key to disappointment"
I never expected it, so I don't miss it.
Try and enjoy the rest of the car, and maybe one day you won't even remember wanting a home button.
Nicely said.
Several Leafs in the eco areas that saw the volts. Smart EV's, Fisker, etc. Sorry I was mainly Volt obsessed, and the show was crazy busy, and VERY large.
The following article from The Toronto...
The Toronto Auto Show had Volts front and center at the GM booth. Two "complete" Volts and a really cool display showing the guts of the car, with a guy who really knew the car talking about the...
