Our 2013 is Cyber Grey with the spice red accents. Very nice looking combo.

From the pics it looks like these LEDs are side-firing. That is why they would not work well in a projector housing.

While interested to see how the light output with these is, I do not like that these rely on failure-prone fans. Just another thing to worry about.

My seat-of-pants meter tells me my Volt would run up to around 120 if not limited, possibly a few more MPH in Hold mode.

I believe that flashing is a result of video camera frame rate and LEDs. I don't think you can see it with the native human eye.
