If it's the propulsion pack then this is unusual. I'm still thinking it's the 12v. It's more likely it wouldn't charge than it wouldn't hold a charge. I'd think a self discharging 16 kWh battery pack...

I'd discharge battery to 50% and not plug it in. Either way not likely a big deal. However, two months is a long time. You'd probably want to run the engine a bit just to keep everything lubricated.

Also note it appears that Tesla announced it was eliminating the guaranteed buy back. The introduction of the lower end model may have been part of the original plan, but when you look at the timing...

Likely the 12v battery. If it's the 16 kW pack then GM would be replacing it. The 12v battery on the Volt will eventually fail. The biggest difference is that with an EV you don't get the warning...

Bummer. Good thinking to call OnStar. Doesn't seem critical given the 7 day window. Could be something minor with the 12v. Keep us posted.

I doubt it matters for the Bolt EV. The cells for the Bolt EV batteries weren't coming from China. More likely this would affect the CT6 or the possible Voltec Buick Envision.

    Seems like a...

If you're concerned about safety get blind spot warning and cross traffic alert. They work very well and do enhance safety. The A pillars are a problem. Not unusual. Manufacturers have beefed up the...

Nothing helps your electric range as going downhill for 10,000 feet! What hotel did you stay at? We rented a condo on Airbnb which had a charger last fall. Worked great.

No idea about the driver but the Volt and every other car with ACC would have sensed the trailer and stopped. Tesla has one crappy and/or defective system. Made worse, as Loboc says, by Tesla...

Hard to believe anyone long would be complaining about anything. Hard to find anything anywhere that hasn't been up lately. (Not that I'm complaining ... :D:D:D).

The parallels between Tucker and Musk just keep getting stronger and stronger. Weird actually. Here is a WSJ article that talks about a new book about Tucker. Given the size of the car market, more...

I don't have a precise answer but I can tell you that when coming over the mountains back to San Diego I had plenty of power with the ELR in HOLD. Passing many vehicles which were power limited.
