I can understand it sleeping after a few days. But not a few hours.

I think that option was removed.
I tried testing that out. But apparently when you switch off MM, no miles are counted as EV when you charge the battery from 0 miles.
Going to have to try it again at 2-3 miles left.
Doesn't the onboard generator charge almost as fast as a DC charger??
