21000 care free miles- 220mpg
I have the same 10 gauge cord from Home Depot and it works great. The icing on the cake is that it's made in the USA.
AC in eco seems to work great in cooling the car and not drawing a lot of range-heat is the killer in the winter. 20800 miles driven, 220mpg-its a great car!
I'm only at 1 and a half years but the car is just a joy. 20000+ miles and still close to 225mpg. Also ave. about 60mpg on longer trips when I can plug in at both ends. I bought a 10g ext. cord 100...
Does anyone know of any charging stations in Portland Maine? We are traveling from Ct. and it would be great to re-charge when we get there.
I purchased Husky car mats and they are similar to weather tech because they are form fitted and the sides are raised- I also have weather tech in my other vehicle- I also wish they would make mats...
I've always liked a silver car- nice look and welcome to the club.
I think you hit the nail on the head!
Traveled a total of 292 miles yesterday and used approx 5.9 gallons of gas. Started with a 44 mile run in all electric was thinking about trying the mountain mode concept but just let the Volt do its...
The real payback is not putting 5-7000pds of co2 into the air by driving a volt. I know, you are going to say that electricity production creates co2- it's easier to control one smoke stack vs...
And to think it's only going to get better- hybrid technology has reached its max. level. The Volt tech. is just begining.
congrats and keep us posted as to how you like it. I've had mine since Oct. and right now its in for the battery enhancement- I really miss not having the car- it's great!
its great to have you on board!!!
Just wondering how many other owners have had this done and how well did it go? I have to say that I don't like relying on my gas powered vehicles. It's amazing how without the volt you feel like you...
Congrats on joining the Volt family and you made a great color choice, mine is also red and I'm not tired of that color yet- it reminds me of candy apple red of my childhood days.
Since no one has welcomed you to the Volt family, I will congratulate you and wish you many pleasurable miles of going past gas stations and tooting! After 5800 miles I've only used 23.7 gals. of...
You gotta love the arrival of warmer weather- for the second day in a row a new record 52.6 in electric mode and my charge this morning showed 47 for the potential distance today. My biggest problem...
I just received and installed my new molded floor mats and cargo mat from Husky liners. They fit great a look like they will protect the carpets. They are similar to weather tech mats and are...
Those are great stats! I'm also close to 6 months and over 5000 miles (ave. 220 mpg) in a colder climate. I've used about 23 gallons since Oct. Some how the increase in my elec. bill does not bother...
Welcome to the club and I'm sure you will love the car. I feel bad because I've used 22 gallons of gas in 5000 miles of driving. It might be that darn sport mode!
