I thought it only fair to post my repair history.
Nov 2011 - one grid-line in the rear window defrost not working. Screw punctured tire repaired under warranty.
Jan 2012 - Check engine light code P04B6. Replaced fuel tank filler pipe housing due to variable resistance in wire which was affecting the fuel door status switch and causing CIL to come on. Warranty.
Feb 2012 - Code P0C4A and P0A9C. Pin hole in battery coolant radiator. Replaced radiator under warranty.
Feb 2012 - Drove it off the lot after the rad fix and CIL came on. Code P04CA. Battery coolant pump likely damaged when fluid leaked out due to pinhole in battery rad. Between the 2 issues in Feb, GM had my car for 2 weeks while I drove the free rentals. I complained to Volt Advisor and GM Canada gave me free extended warranty. Nice!
March 2012 - Air bag inspection completed and charge cord replaced.
May 2012 - Battery reinforcement completed. Carpet tear in right rear passenger side footwell repaired.

I've had my Volt a month now and it has performed flawlessly - a dream come true for sure. Last Sunday I was finally able to replace the pic I took last May of the Kids with the demo Volt we test drove at GM HQ in Oshawa, Ontario. Now I have one with my Volt and the kids, and even better yet there is a huge Volt sign in the background!

Last week, I thought I would try to get a test drive of the Leaf and I was able to get one at Nissan HQ in Mississauga on August 5, 2011. You will find my review at the link below. Bottom line - the Volt is for me but the Leaf wasn't half bad.

I just found out my Volt was finally built on July 27, 2011. It's #662 of the Volt 2012 model year. Can't hardly believe it!

Candian Test Drive of the Volt! Today was a big day for me as I drove a Volt at GM HQ in Oshawa Ontario. It was a fantastic experiance. I think it was the very car that had done the autoshow circut in Canada over the winter and up until the past few weeks was the only one in Canada (preproduction model). Today I learned that there are about 7 or 8 (US production models) now delivered to GM HQ which they will use for "Volt" events to promote the Volt in Canada this summer/fall. I also think that there are about 500 of the 2012 model expected to be allocated to canada.

I live in Ottawa and have my Volt ordered and in the system. Hopefully will be one of the first out there to have one! awesome drive! Exceeded every expectation!
