Tell your Nephew to wait.....Its out of the question for that dealer to be charging that much over sticker....Allocations are almost all filled till 2012 buildout..

Did the ddealer tell you what the expected to be delovered by month is for your allocation?

So now to the third dealer, I am getting this dealers first allocation scheduled for delivery before June 2011
which fits my expectationsvery well, I want to wait as long as possible before exposing it to salt and still be sure of recieving a 2011 model, these will always be in short supply and are being built before they figuer out how to make them cheeper.
The only down side with this dealer (that I know of so far) is that he is 2.5 to 3 hours a way from me in Pinconning, MI (at least I dident have to go out of state). He took a deposit over the phone via credit card and should be emailing me a order number on Tuesday (this seems to be the only day GM acepts new orders) or possibly Monday becaust they actualy have allready ordered on this allocation for the dealership and they are not sure if they can gust assign that order number to me. Sense that order has not yet passed the 1100 stage they make changes on what options and colors are ordered.

The first it turned out was out of allocations, and had others waiting in front of my order, at first they told me I would get in in June or July (I dident find out til later that they ment 2012), they told me this after taking my deposit.

Which I got back a few days later after learning on this site about tracking orders and the dealer could not even give me a order number.

The Second which also took a $500 deposit from me, had one allocation left and he gave me an order and a I tracked it only to find out that having an allocation dident necessarly meen you will even recieve a 2011 model. It turns out that this allocation was estimated for delivery by December 2011.
I will be picking up this deposit on Monday.

I understand that a lot of the first Michigan orders should be arriving in the comming weeks, there will be some dealers with a demo, and most of those demos will be offered for sale, if not now with in a month or so, so they wont last long.

I am back to square one so to speak, I am on my third dealer.
