Hello, all! My enthusiasm for electric cars goes way back, starting with the CitiCar around the time of the first oil crisis. It wan't a practical car in those days, but the thought of EV driving never left me. I never had a chance at an EV1 and my 2005 Prius was flawed in execution—virtually no EV range, rough transition to gas, tepid performance, and underwhelming quality.

I knew when I saw the Volt concept that it was the one worth waiting for. I am proud to have a dream come true in my driveway!
