Does it make sense to try for a meetup now and then to share information?

For example, noise is an issue for me (I'm hard of hearing).
I have some sound pressure meters that can be used to develop noise baseline data. Also, for those interested in noise suppression, I would like to organize a weekend when some Volts get undercoated and some damping applied within doors, under wheel wells, etc.
