Found a good demo MP3 for the Volt/Ampera.
I drove by my neighbors yesterday with it cranked and my windows down as they were sitting out having coffee. (note one owns a Volt). Their faces were priceless <grin>

I have had several people say they would miss the sound of an ICE engine if they had an electric car. So I just dialed up another one of these mp3's from my HDD, and they have nothing to say after that...

Awesome! Would be nice if we could reprogram the blue start button. I think it would be funny to have the sound of an ICE engine starting when the Volt's start button was pressed... Just as a joke when giving demo rides to folks interested in the Volt.

Just as a joke when giving demo rides to folks interested in the Volt.I've done that in a sense. I've made that the MP3 to play then scanned to the beginning of it and shut off the car. Then when the demo rider gets in and we start the car the MP3 starts up <grin>. The Corvette owners thought that was pretty funny.
